Junior Cybersecurity Engineer

Begin your offensive-security career on client engagements with guidance from experienced mentors and learn to assess systems from an attacker’s perspective.

What you’ll do

  • Support penetration tests, audits and monitoring under senior guidance.
  • Conduct reconnaissance, vulnerability scanning and OSINT and assist with validating and prioritizing findings.
  • Help prepare clear, well-structured reports in English and Latvian.
  • Build laboratory environments, develop skills through CTF exercises and progress toward leading your own engagements.
  • Contribute across the team; curiosity, reliability and ownership matter more than years of experience.

What you bring

  • Demonstrated interest in cybersecurity and ethical hacking through CTFs, home labs, education or personal projects.
  • Solid fundamentals in networking, Linux/Windows and at least one scripting language.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Burp Suite, Nmap or Wireshark.
  • Eagerness to learn, rigor, and clear communication in English.
  • Latvian is an advantage. Certifications such as eJPT, Security+ or OSCP in progress are welcome but not required.
